Larkspur Lane began in 2019, but the name came before the skincare.

At the time, I was living on our farm in Idaho, breeding and showing goats. Larkspur flowers grew abundantly along the fences and lanes of the property, and when I needed a herd name for my goats, Larkspur Lane felt like the perfect fit.

I had no idea then that the name would eventually become something much more.

From Goat Milk to Skincare

With goats came plenty of fresh goat milk—sometimes more than I knew what to do with. Looking for a way to put that extra milk to good use, I decided to try my hand at making goat milk lotion.

What began as a simple experiment quickly became something I loved.

As my interest in skincare grew, I realized I wanted to understand more than simply how to follow a recipe. I wanted to learn about formulation, ingredients, and how to create products thoughtfully and with purpose.

That desire led me to the School of Natural Skincare, where I completed my studies and earned my diploma as a Skincare Specialist. With a deeper understanding of skincare formulation and ingredients, I continued developing and refining my products.

What began with goat milk lotion gradually grew into handcrafted soaps, lip balms, facial moisturizers, and other bath, body, and skincare products.

How Larkspur Lane Became Larkspur Lane

When it came time to give my growing business a name, I kept coming back to the name that had already been part of my life for years.

Larkspur Lane had begun as the name of my goat herd, inspired by the larkspur flowers growing along the fences and lanes of our Idaho farm. Carrying that name into the business felt natural. It connected where I had started with where I was going.

Today, the name still represents those beginnings—the farm, the goats, the flowers, and an unexpected abundance of goat milk that started an entirely new chapter.

From Idaho to South Carolina

In 2025, life brought another new chapter for Larkspur Lane.

When my daughter and her family moved to South Carolina, I knew I didn't want to miss the opportunity to watch my grandchildren grow up. So I packed up Larkspur Lane and made the move east, bringing the business—and a name filled with so many memories—with me.

Today, Larkspur Lane is handcrafted in South Carolina, but its roots will always trace back to that Idaho farm, the goats I raised and showed, and the larkspur that once grew along our fences and lanes.

Thoughtfully Made, From Our Family to Yours

Larkspur Lane has grown considerably since that first batch of goat milk lotion, but the heart behind it hasn't changed.

Our products are thoughtfully formulated and handcrafted in small batches with carefully selected ingredients. From formulating and mixing to pouring, bottling, labeling, and packaging, care and attention go into every step.

What started with goats, extra milk, and a little curiosity has grown into a collection of soaps, lotions, skincare, and everyday bath and body products that I'm proud to share with you.
